Gatis Youth Club

Gatis Youth Club welcomes young people aged 9 to 16 every Tuesday and Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm. It’s a place to hang out, make friends, and try out new things in a safe and supportive space.

We’ve got plenty of room for free play in our beautiful green setting, along with games, workshops, fun activities, and even the occasional trip!

Everything we do is shaped by the Gatis ethos of Being Human, creativity, and caring for the environment. That means young people can get involved in all sorts of projects—whether it’s sports, arts and crafts, drama (including our much-loved annual Christmas Panto at the Light Walk in December), or eco-friendly activities like recycling, upcycling, and gardening.

Our Vision for the Future of Gatis Youth Club

We want to empower young people to become positive forces for change in their communities. By taking part in local social action projects, they’ll help improve the spaces around them—whether it’s clearing up green areas, campaigning for better lighting and more bins, or even taking on creative projects like theatre design.

We believe in making young people visible in their neighbourhoods—not just as individuals, but as proud contributors to their community. We create real opportunities for them to get involved, build skills, and have fun along the way.

Community Action:
Litter picks, guerrilla gardening, and environmental clean-ups to improve shared spaces.

Staying Active:
A mix of casual sports and games—football, rounders, table tennis, and free play to encourage movement and teamwork.

Creative Expression:
From set & costume design to rehearsing & performing, we offer plenty of ways for young people to express themselves through the arts.

Showcasing Talent:
‘Reans Got Talent’ – a fun talent show where the young people can perform, host, or support behind the scenes.

Seasonal Projects:
A Christmas Panto where young people can act, create costumes and props, work backstage, or run tech.

Sustainable Living:
Hands-on permaculture activities like gardening, upcycling, recycling, and “plant-to-plate” food growing.

At Gatis Youth Club, we’re building a future where young people lead, create, and thrive—right in the heart of their community.
