MakeShift (Wolverhampton City Council) – who supported our initial ideas and helped us get Gatis off the ground by linking us up with a dedicated contact within the council and pointing us in the right direction for funding and other support.
WVSC (Wolverhampton Voluntary Sector Council) –
- Volunteer Service – The volunteer center in Wolverhampton has been an amazing way to reach volunteers and they worked with us to put us in touch with some great people. We network with other Wolverhampton based companies and charities offering volunteering opportunities and support each other at regular volunteer meetings.
- Wider Work – have given us support and advice in setting up the CIC and keeping us notified of funding opportunities but also in setting up a city-wide partnership looking to make Wolverhampton a participatory city – Wolverhampton for everyone – a people-powered city.
Eden Communities – core team leaders have been a part of the Eden Communities (formerly Big Lunch Extras) and are being used as case studies of successful community developments. We run events in conjunction with Eden around Big Lunches and Community Development. We have also hosted walkers on their Big Walk initiative.
MakerCentric (University of Wolverhampton) – we participated in the MakerCentric project in 2017 exploring community and crafting, producing artwork that was inspired by the community and built environment.
